Snicker Cake

  • 1 pkg.
    German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 12 oz. pkg.
    Caramels
  • 1 stick
    Butter (1/4 c.)
  • 1 c.
    Chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 c.
    Milk
  • 1 6 oz. pkg.
    Semi-sweet choco. chips

Mix cake as directed. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 20 mins. at 350°. Melt caramels with butter & milk. Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle choco. chips and walnuts over caramels. Pour remaining cake batter over cake. Bake 20 mins. at 250° and 10 mins at 350°. Cool before cutting.
