Whiskey Cake

Another Grammy Alyce recipe!

    Yellow cake mix
  • 1
    Small vanilla instant pudding
  • 4
    Eggs
  • 1 c.
    Milk
  • 1 oz.
    Whiskey
  • 1/2 c.
    Oil
  • 1 c.
    Nuts

  • Glaze
  • 1/4 c.
    Butter
  • 1/4 c.
    Water
  • 3/4 c.
    Sugar
  • 1/2 c.
    Whiskey

Beat all except nuts 5 mins. Then add nuts. Grease tube pan & pour in batter. Bake @ 350° for 55 mins. Cool for 1 hr.

Melt butter & add water & sugar. Boil 5 min; remove from heat; add whiskey.

Pour glaze over cooled cake while still in pan. Wrap tightly in foil & refrigerate.
